Looked at Audioshield but this has a variety of instruments for the short of attention span like me. OK baked in audio tracks but they are pretty good tunes (some quite catchy)!. I thought this game would 1-up games like Audiosheild and deliver a more dynamic experiance. The game looked like it would be the Guitar Hero of VR, but ended up being lackluster in execution. This game is not capable of incorporating any songs from your computer, itunes, or Youtube. You may only play the game's royalty-free songs which, in my opinion, get boring fast. I can't expect every developer to be able to do this, but even if the limited playlist doesn't bother you, there is a much more prominent, fundemental flaw in the game that completely kills the immersion.Most instrument-simulation games will penalize you for missing or wrong notes by muffling or distorting the respective note in the song, and this could be easily done by cutting out the sound and playing a sound effect. This way, the player feels as though every note is important to the preformance, embarassed by their mistakes and more satisfied by a perfect preformance. This game does not have this feature and makes note accuracy feel pointless, it's the same song weather you hit every note perfectly or miss them all.Audiosheild may not be very dynamic, and its mechanics may not look immersive on paper, but it is a much better rythm game than SHOW MUST GO ON.. Good fun to have a pop at when you have some free time and fancy some tunes, my kids love this but I find myself taking over most of the time, good mix of tunes, haven't come across any issues what so ever, could do with some more tunes but im sure that will come in time. Worth buying for sure . I would recommend this. Its definately worth a try :). There's a demo available that contains a few tracks. If you're not sure whether you like the game or not, give the demo a try and see for yourself.In a nutshell, you're standing on a stage where the instruments are rotating to your position, and you're either slamming on things, or use your glowing sticks to follow some pattern. That sounds a bit boring, but for me, it's fun. There are 33 or so songs to choose from, with various styles.It might get repetitive after a while, but I think this is something you can always go back to and play again from time to time. It's well worth the money, especially discounted.There's only a few things I really have to complain about, but none of them are really dealbreakers: There's no OST available and I believe no way to figure out where some songs come from (I really like some of them)I's sometimes not obvious why you need to play this "note" (as in, the rhythm isn't obviously matching with the song)The pads (drums and xylophone) might be a bit close to each other, making accidental hits a thing. That's just a matter of exercise though, I think.It takes a while until the game is started, and it rarely hangs and needs to be killed and restarted. I've had that happen only once so far.. Had issues with the latest patch....Devs fixed same day! I recomend this game to anyone whos even slighly on the fence.
